Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my first 39th birthday. Don't worry. I am not going to be one of those people who "stays" 39. I am actually looking forward to turning 40. Yes, I know that seems strange. But, I am 16 years younger than my husband and the youngest of all my siblings. Almost all of our couple friends are closer to my husband's age than mine. So even though I am getting older they are all still older than me. And because I have always been around older people, I realize that getting older is not such a bad thing. Besides...every birthday means I am one year closer to retirement and ultimately one year closer to the day I get to go be with my Lord.
