The New Era has Begun
Our new pastor won't be here for a couple of more weeks and I'm not sure when his first sermon will be yet. But we also have a new associate pastor in place, so I suppose he will be preaching until then. I am ready for us to begin this new time in our church. I am very excited about it and looking forward to the things God will teach us through our new pastors and seeing the people who will come and join our congregation that do not yet know the Lord. God is going to do wonderful things and it will be fun to watch and to be used by Him.
I bought a new spiral on Friday because I wanted to start with a fresh one when our new preacher arrived. I will start using this coming weekend!

A New Thing
A New Thing
Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? ~ Isaiah 43:19Do you ever get really tired of doing the same old thing all the time? You want to do something different but you either don’t know what to do, or you are afraid to do the new thing you are thinking about doing? You often get into ruts. You do the same thing all the time even though you are bored with it because you are afraid to step out and do something different. You would rather be safe and bored than excited and living on the edge. There is a certain amount of comfort in sameness – you may not like it, but you are familiar with it. God has created you to need and crave diversity and variety. You require freshness and newness in your life. As this year and this day come to an end, make a quality decision to step out into the new thing God has for you. And don’t forget to enjoy yourself!
What is the new thing God has for you? How are you going to fill your life with freshness and newness during 2007? What is safe and boring that needs to be replaced?

Daughter of God
"I am a daughter of God, I am a child of the King, I am a holy fire burning with His love, I am a sister of Christ, by his grace I am redeemed!"
This is GREAT news! I should live each day with the Joy of the Lord in my heart! Psalm 107:2 says,
Has the LORD redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has saved you from your enemies.
I thank the LORD for my redemption and I pray for the opportunity to share the news with someone today!
